Holy Angels Buy A Net Bake Sale

During the 2009-2010 school year, the Grade 7&8 students at Holy Angels School in Schreiber dedicated their time and energy to raise awareness and money for Malaria prevention. The students held a bake sale, a pie sale, and also created and sold buttons. All proceeds went to Buy-A-Net, an organization that aids with the manufacturing and distribution of Malaria nets. Our school goal was to raise $350, enough to save a village from Malaria. Not only did we meet our goal, but we doubled it; the students at Holy Angels raised almost $800!
