School Computer Labs | Each of our Catholic Elementary Schools is equipped with a state of the art Computer Lab, complete with high-speed Internet access (which is content filtered) and a networked printer. Each lab has enough computers to enable all students of a class to sit individually at a computer to do their work. | | All classes, from JK to Grade 8, schedule weekly sessions at the computer lab, to integrate technology into the curriculum. Here they create slide show presentations, word processing documents, spreadsheets, surf the Internet and more. This skill set will assist in their pursuit of life-long learning, as competent netizens and computerate users, in a society experiencing continuous technological change. | | Multi-media Center
| Presentations that shine!! Each school now has a multimedia center, which consists of an LCD projector and a computer that can be wirelessly connected to the network and Internet if necessary. The computer was also upgraded with a DVD player/burner and a stereo audio sound system, complete on a rolling cart for mobility. | Technology in the Classroom Most teachers now have a networked computer at their desk, to facilitate communication and research. In addition, most classrooms have an average of two to four networked computers dedicated for student use and Internet research. Almost all classrooms also have a networked laser printer.
