Holy Saviour Catholic School Open House
On Thursday, September 26th Holy Saviour Catholic School welcomed parents, guardians, students, grandparents and visitors to their annual Welcome Back Open House and BBQ.
Visitors had the opportunity to tour the learning environments and classrooms and students were excited to show off their favourite things in their classrooms. The teachers and support staff were available to meet the parents. Demonstrations of Math and Language programs that will be used this school year were given including IXL - an online learning tool that students can use at home.

Rhonda O’Connor, RN from the Thunder Bay District Health Unit provided parents/guardians and students with information on healthy snack ideas for the school year. Superior North Catholic District School Board Attendance Counsellor, Michelle Legacy provided information on the importance of attendance and Helen Gibbons, Mental Health Nurse provided information on the importance of taking care of ourselves. Kelli Adams, Positive Behaviour Support Worker was on hand to treat our students to some creative face painting. Thank you for being part of our team!

The learning commons was open for their annual book fair. There were many great books available, and with the money raised, the school will purchase more books for their school library!

A free BBQ was put on by the Holy Saviour School Parent Council. A big thank you to Al Cresswell from CFNO for cooking such delicious burgers!

We look forward to another wonderful school year!
