Holy Saviour School Remembrance Day

Holy Saviour School Remembrance Day

On November 11th, students and staff at Holy Saviour Catholic School met in small, socially distanced cohorts outside the school by the Canadian Flag to take time to Honour and Remember those who have sacrificed their lives for our freedoms.

Students stood by the Canadian Flag for the playing of Canada followed by a moment of silence and prayer. Each class presented a Wreath decorated in various symbols of Remembrance. Wreaths were placed on one of the White Crosses that are placed below the flags. Class members said a few words to explain the symbols that were featured on the wreaths presented. Lest We Forget.
