Holy Angels School Outdoor Learning
Students and staff from kindergarten to grade 6 at Holy Angels School in Schreiber enjoyed an amazing learning opportunity at Pukaskwa National Park.
Learning experiences in the outdoors are a valuable tool to encourage students to engage in active and healthy activities. Throughout the school year, our students actively participated in experiential learning opportunities which provided students with the ability to connect to a community outside of school.
During their visit to Pukaskwa National Park students engaged in conversations and explored the rich cultural, spiritual and historical heritage of the Anishinaabek people.

The students participated in a variety of educational outdoor activities and games in an outdoor learning environment that included a beautiful view of Lake Superior.

We are thankful for these outdoor learning experiences that connect our young students with nature in our country’s most unique and treasured places.
