Media Release - Positive Behaviour Support Worker

Superior North Catholic District School Board is thrilled to welcome to our team Ms. Meghan Miller as our new Positive Behaviour Support Worker.

Ms. Miller has been a Children’s Mental Health Counsellor with North of Superior Counselling Programs since graduating from Lakehead University in May 2011. As a graduate of the Honours Psychology program, her area of study focused on Psychotherapy, Cognitive Psychology, along with, Exceptional Child and Child Psychology.

Meghan has gained valuable experiences in working as a Children’s Intake/Counsellor and providing individual and family therapy.

Meghan is a qualified safeTALK Trainer through LivingWorks. In this capacity, she is able to facilitate workshops to educate and certify individuals in being suicide alert.

By working with children, teens and their families, Meghan has gained a firm understanding of the requirements involved to provide and implement an effective primary case management and intervention plan for the most complex and high need youth, as well as, providing support for their families within the community.

Ms. Miller is committed to continuing a career that enhances the well-being of students and their families, and to be an active participant within our local communities to provide the necessary tools to help students live a successful life.
