Grade 7/8 students from St. Hilary Catholic School and St Edward Catholic School travelled to Thunder Bay to participate in the Level Up! skilled trades career fair.
The Level Up! career fair was an opportunity to learn more about the skilled trades as a potential career path. Skilled trades professionals are in high demand across Ontario, with well-paid, stable and flexible career opportunities. Students were treated to showcase what is available in the skilled trades, participating in hands-on and virtual experiences of some of the exciting careers in the skilled trades. From virtual reality welding to scale-model excavation, students explored a variety of skilled trades and learned more about their potential future careers.
