St. Martin Catholic School Holiday Hoopla

On November 25th, 2022, the Grade ⅞ class of St. Martin Catholic School organized the fourth annual Holiday Hoopla.
The Holiday Hoopla is a yearly Christmas carnival in the school’s gymnasium. There are always a lot of fun games and activities for the students to enjoy. The events included a face painting station, carnival games, a photo booth, a hockey target shoot, a penny auction, a concession stand and a student-made Dance Dance Revolution using a Makey-Makey coding system.
The Holiday Hoopla is also a fundraiser; all the money raised was donated to North Shore Harvest Cupboard, the local food bank. All events were priced from 50¢ to $3.00. The Grade ⅞ class was able to raise $910.85.
It was great having the entire school community, parents, and Ecole Catholique Franco-Terrace.
The Grade ⅞ class is looking forward to planning the Holiday Hoopla next year and continuing to make a difference in their community.
