The Superior North Catholic District School Board (SNCDSB) is pleased to welcome Darren Myshok to his new role as Plant and Field Services Manager.
With more than 20 years’ operational management experience in Northwestern Ontario, Darren has been devoted to promoting an overall culture of safety, customer service and teamwork within organizations and with external partners.
In his last position as District Manager, with an environmental and hazardous waste company, Mr. Myshok was promoted from Operational Manager to District Manager all within 10 years. Under his stewardship he led the organization through development and mergers to be the largest and trusted service provider in the Northwest region, increasing revenue exponentially while maintaining a high quality of workmanship and customer satisfaction. In the various positions that he has held over the years, he is always striving for continuous improvement and working for the best outcome for all involved.
Mr. Myshok loves Northwestern Ontario and when not working can be found enjoying camping, boating, and fishing with his family. Darren and his wife Jenny feel that supporting their three sons Nick, Cody and Izak on their various educational paths including academics and athletics is a priority because it develops skills leading to lifelong learning, strong work ethic and good relationships.
Darren is excited to bring his skills and experience to the Superior North Catholic District School Board to support students, faculty and the entire school community by working to ensure the facilities meet their needs and provide a safe, clean, and healthy environment for them to learn and teach. “I feel that if staff and students have a facility that they can depend on being consistently serviced and cared for, it removes barriers to education; I am looking forward to working with the SNCDSB team and being able to contribute to the success of the next generation's education.”
