The Superior North Catholic District School Board is excited to welcome Stephanie Beaulieu to our team as our new Mental Health Worker. With a Diploma in Social Services Work from College Boréal and an Honours Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work from Laurentian University, Stephanie brings a wealth of experience and passion for supporting children and families.
Born and raised in Timmins, Ontario, Stephanie began her career in social work early, holding various positions that allowed her to develop a diverse skill set. In 2016, Stephanie moved to Longlac, Ontario, to further broaden her work experience. She joined North of Superior Counselling Programs, where she served in multiple roles over eight years. For the past five years, Stephanie has been a dedicated children’s counsellor, developing a strong passion for providing mental health services to children.
“I take great pride in supporting children and families across the Greenstone area and North Shore communities,” said Stephanie.
An active community member, Stephanie lives in Longlac with her husband and two young boys. Stephanie recently received the Jess St. Pierre Volunteer of the Year award for her contributions to the community.
“I am eager and excited to begin my new role at Superior North Catholic District School Board, and I am looking forward to working with all staff, students, parents, guardians and community partners.”
