Kids in the Know TrainingOn October 14th and 20th educators within the Superior North Catholic District School Board (SNCDSB) spent time learning from the Canadian Centre for Child Protection. Learning centered around keeping our children safe.

SNCDSB educators learned about the Kids in the Know program. The Kids in the Know program is a curriculum developed by the Canadian Centre for Child Protection that aligns with all curriculum being taught in Canada, as well as Ontario. The program will promote and teach about: relationship skills, identifying feelings, assertiveness skills, healthy boundaries, the role of safe adults, high risk behaviours, and how to get help to name a few.

The SNCDSB wishes to extend our thanks and gratitude to the Canadian Centre for Child Protection for their work and role in promoting and ensuring student safety through providing training and resources for our staff.
