The Superior North Catholic District School Board is pleased to welcome Girolamo Figliomeni to his new role as IT Cybersecurity Analyst, effective August 31, 2026.

Girolamo is a recent graduate of Lakehead University, where he achieved an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Throughout his degree, he completed specialized coursework directly aligned with modern digital defence and IT operations.

In addition to his academic credentials, Girolamo brings practical knowledge to the position, having previously served as an Information Technologist with the Board's IT department during the summer months. This prior experience provides him with a strong understanding of the Board's technology infrastructure, operational requirements, and school community needs.

In this role, Girolamo will work in close collaboration with the Information Technology department, school administrators, and system staff as digital learning tools and technologies continue to evolve in Catholic education, ensuring the privacy, security, and digital resilience of our school communities.
