Superior North Catholic District School Board is thrilled to announce the appointment of Angela Gainer as the new System Literacy Lead. Angela brings a wealth of experience and passion for education, having dedicated the past 21 years to the Superior North Catholic District School Board.

Angela’s career includes 14 years as a classroom teacher specializing in literacy and 7 years as a principal. Her extensive background in education reflects a deep commitment to literacy and a proven track record in supporting students and educators alike.

In her new role as System Literacy Lead, Angela will be instrumental in implementing and supporting best practices in literacy across the board. Her goal is to help educators enhance their teaching strategies and ensure that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential in foundational literacy skills.

Angela is eager to collaborate with teachers and principals throughout the Superior North Catholic District School Board to foster academic success and strengthen literacy programs. Her proactive approach and enthusiasm for supporting educators will be invaluable as SNCDSB continues to strive for excellence in education.
