Dear Parents/Guardians:

As noted in our letter posted on December 17, 2020, regarding extended school closure, we stated that we were ready to shift to remote learning and prepared to close schools the week of January 4-8. The Ministry of Education has now informed us that, in fact, schools will be closed across the province that week. Our buildings will be closed as the reason for closing is to keep people at home so they are not exposed to anyone outside their own household.

Our teachers are prepared to teach remotely, students received their Chromebooks and/or any other devices required last week and plans are in place for our special needs students. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your school principal.

We thank our parent community for your patience and understanding during these challenging times. As always, the safety of your children is paramount, as is meaningful learning.
