The Superior North Catholic District School Board (SNCDSB) recognizes the importance of keeping connected with your child’s school.

All SNCDSB schools will now use the SchoolMessenger communication platform to send automated phone calls and emails to parents and guardians. We will use this system for emergencies, attendance, school updates, newsletters, and school events.


Follow the steps below to create an account and set your preferences:

  1. Visit home.schoolmessenger.ca, or download the SchoolMessenger App.
  2. Create an account by clicking Sign Up on the top right menu, using the email address you have on file with your child's school.
  3. Once you are logged in, go to Preferences on the left hand menu. You can choose how you want to be contacted based on the category of message (from emergencies to school activities) and provide contact permission. You will be able to listen and read messages from the school for the previous 30 days so you don't miss a thing, including alerts, notifications and attachments. You can also sign back in to change your preferences at any time.
