Brightspace Parent & Guardian allows authorized parents and guardians to log in to a school's Brightspace Learning Environment to see what their children are working on, what’s on the schedule, and the latest news from the classroom. This helps parents and guardians engage with their young learners and maintain awareness of their upcoming work.
Brightspace for Parents and Guardians can be accessed using one of these convenient methods:
Brightspace for Parents and Guardians Web and Mobile Web:
Web Link to Brightspace for Parents and Guardians to view your child’s digital portfolio, online class announcements & assignments.
- The first time you use the website, enter your email address (the same email address that you provided to your child(ren)’s school).
- Click on the Forgot your password? under the Log In button. You will be sent an email to with instructions how to reset your password
- Return to login page and enter new password
Brightspace for Parents and Guardians Mobile App:
To sign up to access your child(ren’s) students work through the Brightspace Parent and Guardian App, follow the steps below.
- Download the app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store
- Click on Get Started
- When prompted to Search for your Child's School type in Superior North CDSB
- Click on the Forgot your password? under the Log In button.
- Type in the parent/guardian email address on file at the school in Username.
- Click Submit. You will receive an email prompting you to create new password.
- Return to login page and enter new password.
