Through Experiential Project funding, the Grades 1-8 students from Holy Angels Catholic School in Schreiber had the opportunity to learn a new skill: sewing!
Through the funding and with Educator initiative, the school was able to purchase sewing machines, patterns and supplies needed to complete the various projects. The students stepped out of their comfort zones and tried a skill that was new and never imagined they could do.
With the help of some Educators and their passion and skills for sewing, the students were able to sew Teddy bears, Aprons for Mothers Day and bunnies!
It truly was a real team approach and we hope to do more projects like this in the future!
