Holy Angels Mathematicians

Holy Angels Catholic School Grade ¾ class in Schreiber rose to the challenge of learning mathematics in a digital setting this spring! The students didn’t let the pandemic get them down, as they applied knowledge and skills from fractions, multiplication and division, and financial literacy lessons using virtual manipulatives and technology like screen sharing.

On November 4th, St. Martin Catholic School in Terrace Bay presented the North Shore Harvest Food Cupboard with non-perishable food items and donations. The food items and donations were collected as part of our Trick or Eat Halloween Bingo campaign. Students and Staff were encouraged to bring in a donation to help support our local food bank. This year we collected 42.4 kgs of food and $345.00 in donations.

This guide was developed in consultation with public health experts, including Ontario's Chief Medical Officer of Health, and aims to help schools identify and isolate COVID-19 cases, reduce the spread of COVID-19 in schools, and prevent and minimize outbreaks.
